My fortunate entry to Horticulture world

At the age of 15 after successful completion of  class X (Metriculation), I was in a dilemma of preferring which field to enter as the Pre-university Course. With my mothers force I have joined in MPC (Maths-Physics-Chemistry) group in the same college where she works though I am not interested really in it. But after successful completion of 1st year with an aggregate of 93% I got a chance to jump from that field due to instability of that college. So, I joined BiPC (Biology-Physics-Chemistry) stream @ a very renowned institute (VIGNAN Vidyalayam) in Residential mode. During the whole course duration of 2 years my ambition was to become a doctor by securing a good seat in one of the top medical colleges of the state (common dream of all the pupil joined the course) and I don't know that there are courses meant for study of Agriculture, Horticulture etc... But during counseling the medical board has rejected me to pursue a medical course as I couldn't perform activities like surgeries etc... due to my physical disability of one hand (due to fire accident @ the age of 10) though I got a good rank in State level Pre-Medical Entrance Test (EAMCET). I was totally disappointed at that time and sooo nervous of my future.
Finally with the suggestions from some elder people I attended the counseling of the Agricultural University (ANGRAU) at Hyderabad with the aim of taking the B,Sc (Agri) degree but fortunately due to some unavoidable circumstances I had to take B,Sc (Horticulture) degree even without knowing what it is related to totally. Since the day of admission till today my liking & interest in the subject was increasing cumulatively. Hence, I determined to be a Horticulturist forever though many people allure me towards various economic fields, as I believe in the saying "Peace of mind is more important than Economy " in any ones life. This Horticulture is the field where one can get Peace of mind as well as Economy all together at a time. Presently I am pursuing my Masters in Horticulture @ University of Agricultural Sciences, GKVK, Bangalore, Karnataka , India.
